young adult carers
Centre 33 provides support for young carers and young adult carers up to the age of 25 who live in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
Young adult carers are young people aged 16 to 25 who care, unpaid, for a family member or partner with an illness or disability, mental health condition or an addiction.

YOUNG ADULT CARERS AND CENTRE 33
At Centre 33, we support young adult carers. If you care, unpaid, for a family member or partner with an illness, disability, mental health condition, or addiction, we are here to help you.
A young adult carer's responsibilities might include helping with daily tasks, providing emotional support or managing household duties.
Have you ever:
• Felt isolated, or struggled to fit socialising in around your caring responsibilities?
• Struggled with finding work, training or transitioning into further education?
• Had difficulty claiming benefits or accessing Carer's Allowance?
• Lacked confidence and found managing your mental health difficult?
• Considered the next stage of your life, potentially stepping away from your caring role?
You are not alone. At Centre 33, we're here to listen, support you and help you manage the challenges of your caring responsibilities.
