Fundraise for
centre 33
At Centre 33, we are lucky to have fantastic support from our community. People often fundraise for us to say thank you. Well, the feeling is mutual. We have supported over 50,000 young people across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough over the past 40 years with the support of people like you.

why is fundraising so important?
We make every penny we receive go a long way. You can read all about the difference your support can make in the lives of young people on our impact.
Whether you decide to run the Cambridge Half Marathon as part of Team Centre 33, hold a gig or plan a pizza party, we hope you have fun while knowing the positive impact your fundraising will have in the lives of local young people.
There are lots of ways to fundraise for Centre 33 - we have listed some ideas below. To find out more or to ask any questions, please get in touch with our fundraising team. We would love to hear from you.
ways to raise funds
TAKE ON A CHALLENGE
Why not get your friends and family to sponsor you? You could:
• Do a cycle, swim or run.
• Give something up for a day, week or year.
• Try something new, like a bungee jump or skydive.
PUT YOUR SKILLS TO GOOD USE
If you have skills, hobbies or passions then put them to use in your fundraising. Musicians could host a concert, while artists could donate proceeds of art sales, for example.
RAISE MONEY AT SCHOOL
Nominate Centre 33 to benefit from school fundraising activities such as non-uniform or fancy dress days, concerts, collections, raffles and quizzes.
GIVE AS YOU SHOP
Shop and support Centre 33 at the same time. Choose us as your charity on Easy Fundraising or Give As You Live and we'll receive a donation every time you shop with a partner retailer. Selling on eBay? Donate your proceeds to Centre 33 - you'll also receive a discount on seller fees.
SWAP GIFTS FOR DONATIONS
Instead of receiving gifts for special occasions, ask your loved ones to donate to Centre 33.
PLAN AN EVENT - OR GO VIRTUAL
You could host an event at your home or in a community space, such as a coffee morning or dinner party. Or why not host virtual quizzes or classes?
have a question about fundraising?
However you choose to fundraise for Centre 33, we would love to hear your ideas and support you with them, so please get in touch. We can provide sponsorship forms, t-shirts and collection pots and buckets.

our top tips
• Make sure you pick something fun that you'll enjoy - even if it's a challenge.
• Keep it simple and achievable. Set a realistic fundraising target in a manageable timeframe.
• Share, share, share. Please do let people know what you are doing. The more people who see you, the more people will want to support you.
• Collect donations simply by setting up an online donations page with JustGiving, creating a fundraising page on Facebook or adding a donate sticker to your Instagram story.
• Kickstart your fundraising – if you have a fundraising page and no-one has donated, then make a donation yourself, encouraging others to do the same.
• Start early – the sooner you start, the more time you have to invite friends and family and collect donations.
• Stories matter – we know you care about young people so please tell everyone why you have chosen to support them.
• Remember to pass on our thanks to all your supporters.
• Please let us know what you are planning and tag us on your socials.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Please remember, if you choose to set up a JustGiving page you will need consent if you are under 18
