Eating habits
Our eating habits are a reflection of the relationship we have with food. If you find eating difficult, it might be helpful to find support.

What issues can people have with eating?
We all have a relationship with food in our lives, but for some people this relationship is difficult. You could be using food to cope with negative feelings or it could be related to an excessive focus on your weight. You may be counting calories, over exercising and lying about the food you eat.
If eating is something that concerns you, makes you feel stressed or bad about yourself, we are here to help.
how might an eating disorder make me feel?
Some of the feelings that you might experience if you have an eating disorder are:
• Feeling low, depressed
• Feeling unable to think about things other than food
• Feeling that you have to be perfect or have the perfect body
• Feeling that you are never good enough
• Feeling tired and disinterested
• Feeling ashamed or guilty
• Feeling that you are out of control or maybe feeling addicted to controlling your food as a way to feel in control of your life
